Pink nail polish?!

Day 27 Sep. 6  Another weekend gone by; filled with FUN to say the least! Ahh, so on Friday Emilia and Birgitta took me to Ebbas Fik, a 50's style cafe for lunch. That was lots of fun! I had a chicken salad, and brought home a brownie sort of dessert with peanuts :) Friday night I headed to Sarah's house for dinner/dessert/movies. Also there were Dakota and Shruti. We all pitched in to help Sarah make dinner. Tacos! It was a great time for us to talk and just sort of get to know one another better, especially Shruti whom I had only met once before this. For dessert we had a chocolate cake with white chocolate chunks and ice cream. Shruti was picked up, but Dakota, Sarah and I went down to the Pendal theatre (Lindgren's theatre to be exact) to watch movies. We watched "13", realized it was only a little after nine so we put in "The Lake House". Never have watched "13", it was a great movie, seen "The Lake House" but still nice to refresh my memory. Close to midnight by the time the second movie was over so I went back home, got on facebook then fell asleep.

Saturday morning and afternoon consisted of nothing. Just me being lazy. But Saturday night was....A Night in Paris. Emilia, Veronica, and Ida have a girls night once a month I believe and it was Emilia's turn. So everything was a surprise from the dinner to the theme of the night. Emilia and I went to Veronica's flat then Ida showed up. Then Emilia sent us out of the flat to set up everything. The only thing we were told was to wear red, white, or/and blue. So I thought, USA theme??? Turns out I was wrong. Emilia opened the door wearing a beret! France/french theme! We had risotto and some vegetables for dinner, and for dessert we had crackers with cheese and jam. We listened to french music, had a eiffel tower building contest and went for godis. We bought almost 2lbs of godis :) Came back and played scrabble, first in english words then in swedish words. It was a fun, fun, fun, evening. Sunday :] was fun. Around noon Emilia said we were going out for lunch, so I figured we'd be back within an hour or so. But turns out we went out for a few hours! We went to a small town past Hoganas for lunch. I had some yummy fish n chips, the restaurant was right on the harbour. It was a nice little town. After that we backtracked to this art-ish musem place and had a fika. Then we drove to another little town to see the harbour and a place where Emilia used to go to a camp. At last the small journey ended, we drove back to Helsingborg.

Oh yes, pink nail polish! For those who honestly know me you know that since I was little I've had the bad habit of biting my nails :/ I know it's terrible and gross but it's been a habit, habits are HARD to break! But one of my goals this year was to stop biting my nails. So far it's only been a little over a week and my nails look way long, which in reality they really aren't but to me they are. In honor of me not biting my nails I painted them pink  more like coral, a color I am not too fond of, but oh well. Bad thing is though I end up just picking at the nail polish because I have to be doing something with my hands at all times, so it lasts for like a day or two before its all gone and I have to repaint.
