Today is Sunday....otherwise known as a lazy day. Time for a little catch up on this weeks happenings. School:Monday-Friday. Not much happened at school, I went to the classes I knew for a fact I would still be having for the year...and didn't go to the classes that I believe I won' be taking anymore so the days were rather short :) Hopefully I won't somehow end up having the classes I didn't go to because that might raise a few eyebrows...wondering why I wasn't there before. I did get my first assignment in Svenska class though, I'm suppose to read a novel from the 1920s and then answer questions about the novel. Well got my novel (and library card) on Fredag thanks to the help of a girl in my class. The Easter Parade. Well thankfully for me it was a great novel becase I'm already finished with it, it was interesting. So eventually I'll do the questions...probably during the time were suppose to have Svenska class this week but won't because the teacher won't be here so class is canceled. Anyway, were also suppose to do a 5 minute speech on some season...I told my teacher I would do it but now I'm thinking of backing out of it...I would like to have a year speech free. So not much more to say about school, did a powerpoint for photography class but won't present till another week.
Yesterday was 9/11. A day to remember what happened 9 years ago, that changed a part of everyone.
Also, my family took me to Malmo yesterday. It's like going from the island to Seattle. Takes about the same time to drive there and Seattle is basically 2-3 times the size. As the same for Malmo, definetly bigger than Helsingborg. Lots of shops! I mean there were more than one of the same shop, so it's hard to see how they all make a business but then again there were LOTS of people too. So first stop was at a cafe for frokust (breakfast). It was cozy and busy. Then we walked around looked in shops and whatnot. Favorite shop was the "American store of Malmo". It brought me back home :) American candy, food, Arizona Tea...etc. All that good stuff. Then we went to Wayne's Coffee, which is like Starbucks back home. Had some lunch..and did some more strolling around the town. Next we went to a music store and cafe and had a fika. And once again walked some more around the town...Malmo is pretty darn big. Hmm, then we headed back to the car. Had a sleepy drive back to Helsingborg, but first stopped at Willy's for groceries.
Once we got home I decided I wanted to make my family a cake, so I settled on a raspberry creamcheese coffee cake. My mamaa made it about a week before I left and I loved it. So I made it for the first time last night and well it was quite scrumptious. My family said is was very good, so that was great! Now I know what I'll be doing on the weekends, making yummy american desserts!

That's it for this week, more to come next week.
